I must give it to them. They are seizing each opportunity as they present themselves. I shouldn’t be so surprised by now. They’ve proved capable. The captain is an invaluable asset to them. Their first discussion was fruitful. I sense their curiosity, but I wonder how far their gratitude goes. How devoted are they to each other? When will obligation morph into proven mettle? Their actions make sense but now that the pressure is less intense it is time to witness how their minds work.
